History

The origins of “La Madia Regale” products come from a noble and learned French traveler: Mr Antoine Claude Pasquin.
In the first half of nineteenth century, during his trip through Italy, he was fascinated by the extraordinary beauty of Umbria and first of all by the goodness of Umbrian products. And it was tasting the traditional dishes that he discovered the high value of the Truffle: it could be used to enrich any dish, from meat to river fish to semolina pasta.
From that moment on the French alchemist had just one wish: bringing with him his extraordinary and exquisite discover, the Truffle.
Athenor srl born to satisfy the pleasure of that discovery and let the food lovers taste all the Truffle qualities and the traditional flavors of Umbrian specialties.

Quality

We use updated technologies which allow us to exalt the natural features of our products and preserve their original taste. Moreover we can offer a range of products with long shelf life, free from additives and preservatives.
The thermal treatment used to preserve our products allows the customers to receive them as fresh and genuine as they are when just picked up and produced.
Thanks to the updated technologies and the scrupulous production planning we are able to produce large quantities and guarantee both the quality and the food safety requested by the International Standards of IFS and BRC.

The aim of Athenor s.r.l. has always been to produce in full compliance with the environment. Indeed we take a particular care on the separate collection of rubbish and the use of alternative energies, such as the photovoltaic system through which we are succeeding in covering our energy demand.
Among our values there is also the search for the continuous improvement with all due respect to the people, the tradition and the customer satisfaction, in the sign of transparency and responsibility.
